Horsham Triathlon Club’s Lead Coach, Chris

My coaching mantra is ‘to inspire and to develop’.

My background is in team sports playing rugby and cricket to a high standard witChris Keelerh some golf mixed in during down time. My training at the time consisted of very little endurance work and more speed and power. That all changed when a close friend laid down the gauntlet to race a triathlon. I raced Steyning triathlon and my sporting priorities changed completely.
I have now been training and racing multi sport for over 5 years now and have mostly loved every minute.
I have raced over many distances from super sprint up to half ironman distance and my proudest achievement in triathlon was completing 70.3 Lanzarote. My goal over the next 4 years is to qualify and compete at the triathlon age group world championships for Team GB.
I am also one of the founding members of Horsham Triathlon Club and having been coaching since the very beginning.
My coaching mantra is ‘to inspire and to develop’.[/fusion_text]
