Horsham Tri Club Coach, Kath

I look forward to helping athletes get the most out of triathlon, whether that is achieving PBs, winning medals or meeting a personal goal.

KW photo for websiteI completed my first sprint-distance triathlon in 2009 as new challenge after meeting my previous challenge to run 10km. I was hooked straight away. During 2010 I experienced open water swimming for the first time and also completed a couple of Olympic distance triathlons.

I am driven by a challenge and had planned to have completed an Ironman by now. Unfortunately a skiing injury has put that challenge on hold for a few years. During this time recovering from the injury I have become interested in helping others to enjoy the sport of triathlon. I have been helping to coach at Horsham Tri Club since 2013 and completed my level 2 qualification in January 2015.

2015 saw my return to competitions with both the London marathon and the RideLondon 100 being completed. My goals for 2016 include Brighton marathon, an ultra run and a 70.3 triathlon. I look forward to helping athletes get the most out of triathlon, whether that is achieving PBs, winning medals or meeting a personal goal.
