Training Sessions

Swimming

The club has 4 lanes at Pavilions in the Park every Friday 8-9pm and every Sunday 17:00-18:00. All sessions are coached by our team who are on hand to offer advice on swim style & technique. The session will be framed around a ‘set’ which we will guide you through completing in the timeframe.

Lake Swims

During the summer month’s we get to hone our open water skills at the fantastic Southwater Country Park. These are un-coached swims on both Tuesdays and Sundays at 18:30 & are always dependant on swim numbers and having a spotter, so see our Facebook page for the latest info if you do want to come along.

Running

Every Wednesday 20:00-21:00 we meet at the Broadbridge Heath Track where your club coach will push you through limits you didn’t know existed! If you’re racing super sprint or Ironman we will enhance your speed with these regular sessions.

Cycling

Sunday Morning Social Rides – We meet at the front of The Pavilions for a 8:30am leave. Members take it in turns to plan and lead a ride that lasts around 2 hours and we aim to cover around 30 miles in distance. All levels of ability are welcome as this is more of a social occasion than training & we always ride at the slowest rides pace however there are options to raise/lower the pace and the duration of these sessions -any details will be posted on Facebook in advance.

Endurance

If you’re one of the ever increasing group of crazy people undertaking the Ironman lifestyle we have plenty of experience to offer you.
Our weekly sessions will be adapted to suit the needs of the long distance athlete so you can avoid some of the loneliness of the endurance junkie!
